About the company
Ever since Specialplast started, at home in Bertil Davidsson´s basement in 1956, the strength and ambition has been to provide flexible specialised plastics products. We still have this strength today, but our knowledge extends far beyond the boundaries of soft plastic.
Today we are working within three business areas: Medical, Office and Special.
Medical involves a unique cleanroom production for leading players within the medical technology product market.
Office encompasses the products of our own product line, as well as the contracted articles that we keep in stock for our office/stationery customers.
Special is everything else that we supply. It can be anything from customer tailored office/ stationery products, to unique packaging solutions.
Our search for a broader product range has led us to collaborate with other manufacturers. Not everything is manufactured in Gislaved anymore, except for things which are made there the best. Today there is a lot of emphasis on the importance of appropriate logistical solutions – we have extended the stockroom and updated all of the technology in order to provide a quick and easy service to the market. We deliver high quality in the right time and for the right price – put simply: spick-and-span.
